Deviation Actions
Edit: The contest is over due to profound, and absurd lack of intrest. Thank you to those that tried to participate. You have been awarded with two months of free advertising on my DA, if it's worth anything.
Welcome one and all,
To commemorate my upcoming 5,000th pageview, and to celebrate in a way of giving back to the community, I've decided to orchestrate a small contest for aspiring artists, and experianced users alike. If you think the theme and overall idea of this seems familiar, you have =screenvision to thank for instilling this idea in me, and also providing a basis to make a contest over. Please visit her, she's a wonderful artist, and profoundly creative.

Devious Journal Entry
Art can be hard to keep up on. I'm finding it daunting to be motivated. Creativity is finding other ways to present itself, which has been great!
It's nice to visit after so long. There are many memories here, and it's fantastic to be able to look back - there's some great insight as to who I once was. It's good to have a laugh at my own expense!
Life has afforded me so many opportunities; it's pretty grand!
longtime no see!
Hello! while I haven't posted any sort of journal entry in two and 1/2 years, it is time for an update.
I am still continuing my education in Graphic Design - it's enjoyable! This semester I am looking forward to gaining some more insight into digital drawing, as well as typography. I hope to have some new art to upload soon as I have been toying with Illustrator a lot lately. Most of my time lately has been directed to server and domain management or spent with my girlfriend (and lets's not kid ourselves - gaming.). It's all good!
I've reached a great point in my life, and have learned an incredible amount in the last few years. It i
greetings and updates!
hello long timers and new watchers alike, and a big hello to those just passing through as well.
as it stands, I haven't submitted a new piece of art in quite some time, it's been something like seven months! anyway, it's mostly just a laziness issue, and because I haven't bought my new computer yet - but with that exciting bit coming in a month or so, I can say that I'm quite excited to be creating some fun new pieces to work the rust out a bit!
outside of the site, things have been going pretty nicely; I should be getting a new car sometime around when the computer comes in (double score?), and otherwise have been spending time at school
On the Horizon
What a long summer it's been; I've been saying that it's been passing pretty slowly, but all of a sudden days seem like they're just getting skipped! With classes starting in a few weeks, I'm excited that I'll have an opportunity to make a lot more art than I've had time for lately.
I recently got a new cat after having my previous one die of liver failure from eating poisoned food - yep, I was one of the "eleven or so" people effected by the rat poison plague that was going around the upper quality cat foods for awhile. A new cat doesn't really dismiss the sadness for my old cat, but it does help cope a bit as well as add to a more upbeat

Too bad I missed this. Also too bad I can't use something already posted. All of my stuff was past the date you required. even the new stuff. I had a great painting
